Hello ~

I'm Reinny.

This website is mainly about the explorations and games I have been choosing to play and engage with.

One exploration is through the lens of a movement practitioner, currently exploring awareness through movement and continuously asking what it is to have a body, the meaning of play (as understood non-rationally), juggling, martial arts, and many other nameless activities.

Another exploration is the act of working with wood. What began with a dream of a carved bow has become a walk that has even led me to an appreciation for the small bugs that nourish themselves on bark. Trees and their wood are just wonderful. I'm developing a tool called tine for wood carvers to journal their work and find wood (read more about it here; access is currently available upon request).

And through the lens of a software craftsman, I care deeply about data sovereignty, transparent policies, local-first approaches, optimization for sustainability (the good refactor), and a care for visual quietness.

For now, these are the explorations and lenses that this website will voice.
